Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Announces Additional Arrest in Second Drug Round-Up of 2022

(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing today an additional arrest in the second drug round-up of 2022.


The Sheriff’s Office began the operation on Thursday, September 1st with a meeting and briefing at 9:00am at the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla.


The Sheriff’s Office obtained arrest warrants on 20 subjects. The arrest warrants were obtained based on controlled purchases of narcotics by undercover operatives working at the direction of the Sheriff’s Office. Among the narcotics purchased during the controlled buys by undercover operatives were Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Heroin, LSD, and Ecstasy.


As of 10am today, eighteen individuals had been arrested so far and/or were already in jail and will or have been served their warrants. Here is the name of additional suspect arrested and their charges according to arrest warrants:

53 years old

Seneca, SC

Distribution in Methamphetamine – 1 count

Orr, Jr. was taken into custody in Anderson County on Thursday and transported to the Oconee County Detention Center. At this time, Orr, Jr. remains in custody on a $50,000 surety bond.


The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect who is wanted in our ongoing round-up.
