(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------Late yesterday evening, investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division received word that 25 year old Sayphonh Miranda Aquilla Xayachack of Westminster, who was wanted on charges in a shooting incident last week on Ora Road in the Holly Springs Community, was taken into custody last night by authorities in Panama City, FL.
Xayachack was charged with one count each of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime and Armed Robbery while armed with a Deadly Weapon in relation to the incident.
Yesterday, the Sheriff’s Office announced that 18 year old Gavin Lamar Tukes of N. Spring Street in Westminster was taken in custody on charges of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime, First Degree Burglary and Petit Larceny.
The extradition process will begin in order to have arrangements made for Xayachack to be transferred back to Oconee County to face her charges here.
