Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Announces Final Arrest in First Drug Round-Up of 2024

(Walhalla, SC)---------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is announcing today the final arrest in the first drug round-up of 2024.
The Sheriff’s Office began the operation with a meeting and briefing at 8:30am on Wednesday morning, February 20th, 2024 at the Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla.
All 26 subjects that were wanted in the drug round-up have been arrested and/or were already in jail and were served their arrest warrants. The name of the final person arrested is:
· Antonio Aminika Hunter
47 years old
Nebo Church Road, Seneca
Hall Road, Westminster
Distribution of Prescription Medication – 1 count
Distribution of Heroin – 1 count
Distribution of Methamphetamine – 2 counts
Hunter was transported from the Charlotte County Detention Center in Punta Gorda, FL, which is north of Fort Myers, by a Deputy from the Warrants Unit of the Sheriff’s Office and a Detention Deputy to the Oconee County Detention Center. Hunter was booked into jail on June 19th at around 11:01pm. At this time, Hunter remains in jail on a combined $80,000 surety bond. Hunter will be required to wear an ankle monitor, as a condition of bond, should he be released from jail on bond.
