Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests One Suspect Charged in Recent Ora Road Shooting

(Walhalla, SC)--------------------------------------Earlier this morning, investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division arrested one of the suspects who has been charged in a shooting incident that occurred last week on Ora Road in the Holly Springs Community.


18 year old Gavin Lamar Tukes of N. Spring Street in Westminster was taken in custody around 10:25am Wednesday and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 12:47pm today. Tukes was charged with one count each of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime, First Degree Burglary and Petit Larceny.


Investigators are still seeking the whereabouts today of 25 year old Sayphonh Miranda Aquilla Xayachack of Greenfield Road in Westminster, who has also been charged in the incident that occurred last Tuesday evening. Xayachack has been charged with one count each of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime and Armed Robbery while armed with a Deadly Weapon.
