Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Seneca Man on Outstanding Drug Trafficking Warrants

(Walhalla, SC)------------------------------------A Seneca man remains in jail today after his arrest last Friday afternoon on outstanding drug trafficking warrants.
41 year old Larry Allen Ford, of Fernwood Drive, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on March 20th at around 2:11pm. Ford was taken into custody at the Oconee Memorial Hospital and transported to jail.
The outstanding arrest warrants were obtained in 2014 as part of an investigation by Narcotics Agents assigned to the Special Operation Bureau. Ford was charged with one count each of Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance (MDMA), Trafficking in Crack Cocaine and Trafficking in Cocaine.
Ford was given a combined $2,500 surety bond on the four arrest warrants. Ford was also served an outstanding General Sessions Bench Warrant for failure to appear in Court in 2015 on a charge of Distribution of Crack Cocaine.
Ford will also be required to wear an electronic monitoring device, as a condition of bond, should he be released from jail.
According to Narcotics Agents, Ford had moved out of Oconee County prior to his arrest last Friday.
