(Walhalla, SC)-----------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Westminster woman earlier this morning on an outstanding arrest warrant on charges of Trafficking in Fentanyl.

30 year old Jesse Rene Pace, of Dean Road, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at around 2:12am today.  Pace was taken into custody after Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Bureau responded to a disturbance call overnight on S. Bibb Street in Westminster.

Back on November 9th, 2024, a Deputy from the Uniform Patrol Bureau executed a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle, a Mazda SUV, in the area of Sandifer Boulevard and Tosha Drive near Seneca.  Pace was the driver of the vehicle, which was reported stolen from the city of Seneca.

An inventory search of the vehicle produced a quantity of a white powder substance.  At that time, Pace was arrested on charges of being a Habitual Traffic Offender, for Driving under Suspension and for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.  Pace was given a combined $31,270 surety bond on the three charges.  Pace was released from jail on November 11th, 2024 after posting bond.

The white powder substance was sent to a lab to be tested.  According to the arrest warrant, Pace was in possession of approximately 17.11 grams of Fentanyl.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigations.  At this time, Pace remains in jail on the Trafficking in Fentanyl charge pending a bond hearing.
