Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Seeks the Public’s Helping in Locating Missing Westminster Woman

(UPDATE: The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is happy to report that Michele Elizabeth Elgin, who was the subject of a Missing Person's news release last Friday evening, has been located and is safe.)


(Walhalla, SC)-------------------------------------The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help tonight in locating a missing Westminster woman.


40 year old Michele Elizabeth Elgin was reported missing today by a family member. According to the family member, Michele has not been heard from since Tuesday, April 4th.


According to information obtained by deputies, Michele was last seen walking away from the Timberlake One area of Oconee County. Michele was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. Michele hair is also dyed pink.


Michele is a white female, 5’7” tall and weighs 180 pounds. Michele has hazel eyes and brown hair.


Deputies and Investigators have been following up on leads today in regards to locating Michele. Michele also does have some health related problems.


If you have any information on the whereabouts of 40 year old Michele Elizabeth Elgin, you are asked to call 911 immediately.
